Kevin Were, Director of Business Development
Kevin Were joined SpineSmith, LP in May 2009 as Director of Business Development. Mr. Were has over 20 years experience in the medical device and osteobiologic market and provides proven leadership to the sales and business development teams.
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Were held numerous executive positions including management and business development positions at Integra Orthobiologics, IsoTis Orthobiologics, GenSci, Acromed and most recently Vice President of Sales at Spine Matrix.
Mr. Were is responsible for expanding the company's presence both regionally and nationally by growing direct sales, identifying Institutes of Regenerative Medicine and building a distribution network. Mr. Were will work closely with the Institutes of Regenerative Medicine sites by implementing strategic plans to research and develop adult stem cell technologies and lead collaboration for all partners involved.
Mr. Were earned a B.S. In Electrical Engineering from the University of New South Wales in Sydney Australia.
