Jim Poser PhD, Executive Vice President of Regenerative Medicine
Jim Poser joined SpineSmith, LP, in March 2009 as Executive Vice President of Regenerative Medicine.
Poser began his industrial career over 28 years ago as a research scientist developing bone diagnostics and orthobiologics for skeletal repair. Dr. Poser has held executive positions of increasing responsibility with Sulzer Orthopedics, Osteotech, Orquest, Stryker Orthopaedics and IsoTis Orthobiologics among others.
Poser has been responsible for the development of many successful synthetic and allograft-based bone graft materials, is the inventor on 9 patents and author on over 40 peer reviewed publications. For the past several years Dr. Poser has directed his attention to the development of cell-based therapies for tissue regeneration.
Dr. Poser holds a Doctorate in Chemistry from University of California San Diego and a Bachelor of Science degree Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from University of California Santa Barbara.
